The Hackjam.it team is made up of digital professionals, who spend their days fiddling with code in a range of organisations, from charities to large tech agencies. Because we’re not teachers, we believe we can give young people an insight into what a career in tech might be like, and create a learning environment that helps move them out of the classroom and into the real world.
Bronwyn Goodwin is a freelance web and app developer working with start-ups, social enterprises, community groups and artists. She’s worked on everything from e-commerce and e-newsletters, to managing web and IT infrastructures.
Esther Freeman is a freelance digital content creator who has worked for a range of non profit organisations, including Greenpeace and Shelter. She works on digital strategies and ideas generation, right down to building petition sites and social media.
We are currently building our mentoring programme. Our aim is to match all young people who take part in Hackjam.it, with a digital professional who can provide advice and guidance on building a career in tech. If you’re interested in joining as a mentor, drop us an email today
